The NEW DMX Rotator with Power and CAT5e
Now with Art-Net control and real-time position feedback.
The NEW DMX Rotator with Power and CAT5e is a new and improved version of the previous DMX Rotator with Power Outlet. With integrated Art-Net and DMX control, it provides an effective solution for rotating LED screens, lamps, and other data-driven equipment without cable restrictions.
The new rotator also features real-time position feedback via PosiStageNet (PSN), enabling you to create immersive visuals and automation cues that track the rotation perfectly.
Power & CAT5e Outlet with Zero Cable Tangling
A built-in slip ring enables both power and Ethernet data to pass directly through the shaft to the rotating element. This eliminates cable tangling and ensures constant connectivity for illuminated, motorized, or data-driven props, even during continuous rotation.
Enhanced Safety with Friction Coupling
Equipped with an integrated friction coupling, this rotator offers enhanced safety during operation. Should the rotation be accidentally obstructed, the coupling allows the object to stop instantly, preventing damage or injury.
High-Precision Positioning & Flexibility
• Pinpoint Accuracy: Achieve synchronized, repeatable cues with a high-precision 16-bit positioning system accurate to ±0.1°.
• Dynamic Speed & Load Capacity: The rotator supports downward loads of up to 150 kg. With variable speeds ranging from 0,15 to 5,35 rpm, you can execute everything from smooth, subtle turns to fast, dynamic motion effects.
• 360° Mounting Flexibility: Designed to give you total freedom in set configuration, the unit can be mounted with the shaft pointing downward, upward, or sideways. (Please consult the manual for specific guidelines regarding upward and sideways installations).
Scalable Kinetic Installations
Designed for synchronization, multiple units can be daisy-chained using power and DMX in/out ports. This makes the Rotator the ideal building block for complex, large-scale kinetic installations where dozens or hundreds of units must be perfectly coordinated.
