Winch 10 used at spectacular show in Zürich

Moving centerpiece for 360° video mapping

Winch 10 units in action at the Enge Church in Zürich for the immersive live show “Die vergessene Legende von Zürich.” The winches automated a circular centerpiece used for a stunning 360° video mapping sequence, while the entire church architecture was transformed by mapped projection light.

Loïc Marafini about the project:

“The show Die vergessene Legende was a project for which I was responsible for both the scenography and lighting design. As part of this production, I wanted to integrate a Gobelin fabric column in the center of the dome. The idea was to make it appear and disappear throughout the show using a Venetian-style curtain opening and closing system.

For this installation, I chose to use 10 x Winch 10 units from Wahlberg.

On this production, we were also using a custom-made mini roll-down system measuring 5.50 meters in length, fitted with holographic tulle.”
