Description

The RC Platform 2x1m Offroad Ø260mm Wheels is an intuitive way of moving large props up to 600 kg freely around offroad surfaces like grass and dirt.

Create moving effects with set pieces, props or classics such as the flying carpet from Alladin, or the boat from Moana.

The RC platform is very adaptable and only your imagination is the limit.

Easy to Control

The RC Platform 2x1m Offroad makes it easy to move props in and out of the stage area with the very user-friendly wireless remote/RC Transmitter.

Control the platform with only one hand and a single finger on the right gimbal (joystick).

You can adjust the speed and acceleration/deacceleration ramp in the settings of the wireless remote to achieve the movements you need for your project.

Improved Battery, Charger and Motor Unit

The new larger RC Platform series is equipped with improved Motor Consoles and lager Batteries, providing higher motor torque and longer battery life. The new larger RC Platforms are more consistent and powerful than our smaller RC Platforms.

You can fully charge the Battery in 3 hours with the included 2x10A Battery Charger, which is compatible with a standard 230 / 120 volt power source.

Customize to Fit Your Needs

This version comes with air filled Ø260mm wheels that run on offroad surfaces and can clear small obstacles like a low curb.

The RC Platform 2x1m has a typical wooden stage deck finish by default, but it can also be ordered with a custom finish upon request.

You can also double the platform’s size to 2x2m by adding the RC Platform Extension 2x1m Offroad Ø260mm Wheels and increase the load capacity to 900 kg.

The Motor Console can easily be moved onto a custom-made platform with 4 screws and a little creativity. So, it is possible to make any element move with this system. See a short video of how it was done with a mechanical horse here.

If you only need the RC Platform to run on uneven surfaces like damaged concrete, please check out the Offroad version with Ø200mm wheels.

The version with the slick Ø125mm wheels, only runs on relatively smooth surfaces such as stage decks, concrete or Marley floor. The small wheels are easy to hide in order achieve a floating effect on stage.
