The Winch 3 simplifies the automation of motion effects, allowing you to create dynamic movements for your stage props. It offers DMX control with 16-bit precision, enabling fine-tuned control over positioning via a lighting desk.
Featuring a 0-fleet lifting point, the Winch 3 is perfect for lifting static objects like fabrics and textiles. By combining multiple winches, you can design DMX-controlled Contour curtains or Venetian curtains, enhancing your stage effects.
Description
The Winch 3 is a compact and fast mini wire winch for lifting small objects on stage. Compared to our Winch 1, it has an increased lifting capacity of up to 3 kg. This enables you to create stage effects for even more stage props.
You can control this winch directly from the lighting desk via DMX. This means that all movements, speed and positions can be controlled from the lighting desk or a separate controller. It is furthermore possible to cue the movements via DMX, to easily integrate it with the existing stage and lighting design.

The standard Winch 3 offers a lifting height of 10 m (33 ft) and features a built-in positioning system for precise control. It can handle fast pickups or slower, more deliberate movements, depending on the desired effect. This makes it ideal for stage designs requiring automated vertical movements of props up to 3 kg.
You can control the winch 3 and create the movements you want and integrate this into your stage design. The winch is as mentioned controlled from the lighting desk via DMX, and it is possible to set the upper and lower limits of the movement of the winch to adjust the span of motion.
DMX Control System
The winch's 16-bit DMX control system ensures highly accurate operation, with a precision stopping capability within 1 mm. This allows for exact movement effects, ensuring that the elements lifted achieve the desired visual impact.
Multiple Winch 3 units can be used to create stunning choreographies with large items and floating elements. They can easily be daisy-chained, enabling the creation of dynamic movements with hundreds of winches in a single installation.
