This way you can achieve great and smooth horizontal motion effects on stage. Perfectly suited for moving stage props, lights, screens etc.
You have a high degree of freedom regarding your equipment. The large capacity of the Track Runner with Friction Wheel up to 100 kilos allows for usage for several occasions.
By combining it with our Passive Runners you have even more opportunities. If you have bigger loads that calls for several fixing points of the equipment to maintain stability this is a great solution.
You will furthermore have increased lifting and pushing capacity; 100 kilos for each passive runner that is included and up to 500 kilos in total (which is max pushing capacity of the track Runner).
Moving Spot Lights with the Track Runner with Friction Wheel
As mentioned above the Track Runner with Friction Wheel has many possibilities of usage. A very popular way of using has been to move lights and spotlights.
You can use it with our Track Profile with conductor rail where you don't need to wire the whole length of the movement because there is power in the rail. The Track Runner with friction wheel is powered via the integrated conductor rail. You only need to power the equipment mounted on the runner.
The wireless DMX makes the installation very flexible, so you can set up the track system anywhere in your stage setting with no wiring limitations.
You can also use it with our Standard Track Profile and Cable Runners.
Stability and Precision
The Track Runner with Friction Wheel has an advanced positioning system allowing for precise and smooth movements. You have full control and you can program both speed, position and movements at the lighting desk via DMX control.
The friction wheel grabs around the track making it very stable and steady while moving the equipment. Perfect if you need to gain maximum stability in the motion process e.g. for projectors.
