Robot’n’Roll with Wahlberg and Gnags in 2019

A special custom-made robot created by Wahlberg for the summer tour of the Danish pop-rock band Gnags.

In line with the name of their latest release “Robot’n’Roll” Wahlberg created a robot for the stage design of their summer tour in 2019. The presence of the robot has a big impact on the visual part of the stage design, because it moves along with the music.

It is controlled wirelessly with a remote controller and thus able to interact with the singer as a natural part of the show.

The robot itself is DMX controlled, and the motions can be programmed and queued for specific occasions during the show. Furthermore, it is placed on top of a Remote Controlled Platform with off-road wheels, so the robot can be moved around the stage live by using a controller.

This makes the whole setup very flexible and easy to apply. Everything is controlled either at a lighting desk or with the controller.
