Remarkable and reflective kinetic sculpture
with Winches from Wahlberg - 2022
The art project, ”REFLECTION” designed by the Spanish urban artist, SpY, is made by 20 convex traffic mirrors mounted to the compact Winch10 from Wahlberg Motion Design.
The 20 convex traffic mirrors generate a replicated universe that evolves with the different variations of movement and positions of the spectators through reflection. The image of the spectator’s reflection will be distorted, repeated, and multiplied with the different pattern positions and movements the Winch10 generates through DMX controlled effects.
With the Winch10 you can lift stage props up to 10 kg. and create any movement and control positions and much more directly from the lighting desk. As you can see with this art project there are many application possibilities with our winches.
This remindful and reflective art project has been especially created for the ARCO Art Fair, in collaboration with the “María Porto & Leticia Hervás” Gallery.
