Many possibilities with our DMX Winches
There are a lot of options on how to use our DMX winches in your scene design. You can create any motion effect, you are looking for. We can provide a light fixture winch system with a fast, mini winch motor. Using this, you can quickly lift and lower small stage props of any kind. Our automated winches are easy to install and easy to program via DMX on the lighting desk. Take a look at our Winch 1 or Winch 3. If you need to lift and power electrical equipment our Winch 10 Cable is a great solution.
If you want to lift heavier stage props, we also have solutions for that. In this case we suggest you take a look at our Winch 25 or Winch 50. These winches can lift up to 25 and 50 kilos respectively.
DMX Winch Motor
The great advantage of our DMX winches is the DMX control. All our winches are controlled via DMX which makes the installation and programming very easy. You can program and queue all the movements and positions from the lighting desk. It is easy to create the motion effects you want.
The winches from Wahlberg Motion Design are fully automated, and you can operate them just using the lighting desk and a DMX signal. The winches are perfect as a theatrical feature, for concerts, touring or any stage performance or show that aims for a spectacular stage design with beautiful automated vertical motion effects.
Create a beautiful stage design with DMX lighting hoist
The stage design is essential for any stage performance, because it is the deciding factor in creating the right mood and atmosphere for the show. The application of our DMX Winches varies, and you can use them for examaple as a lighting hoist for moving lights on stage.
This way you can create beautiful light effects with fully automated motion from the winches. The electrical wire included in some of the winches, makes smooth lifting of electrical equipment such as lamps and computer screens possible.
DMX hoist
It is also possible to lift other stage props for moving elements on stage. The different DMX motors in the winches secure that you can make the effect you are looking for.
By implementing our DMX hoists in your stage design, you can lift at different speed and from different angles as desired throughout the show. This way the stage props are moving exactly when and whenever you want them to. You can lift items individually using one winch with a single lifting point. Or you can apply several winches lifting larger stage equipment or groups of items, you want to create an automation or kinetic effect for.
Stage Winch or Kinetic Winch

The winches are great for fully automating your scene design. With the winches you can move all sorts of stage props. It is also possible to lift stage lights controlled from the lighting desk, with one of our electric cable winches. The integrated data cable secures the possibility to automate the motion effects, so you can create the show you want to achieve.
Chandelier Winch
As outlined above, you can apply our DMX Winches for many occasions and an example is mounting a chandelier to a winch. Chandeliers are often very big and hard to handle when automation is wanted.
However, our winches have all the necessary equipment for an easy handling of the chandelier. Both in terms of lifting capacity as well as powering the chandelier with an integrated electric wire in the winch. Our Winch 25 Double is perfect for this kind of job.
You can easily apply the winches as a retractable lift to vertically move the chandelier, without the need of dismantling it. The handling is much easier by using an electric winch for a chandelier. If you want to rotate the chandelier it is also possible to combine the vertical movements with totations, with one of our DMX Rotators.
Chandelier lift motor
The DMX motor in the winches are as mentioned perfect for lifting chandeliers of any size. There are many possibilities for you to achieve the right effect, but the motors within the DMX winches serve as a chandelier lift motors for a fully integrated solution that avoids any personal handling of the heavy items after installation.
You can control all our winches directly from the lighting desk. At the same time the motor makes sure to meet all the prerequisites for lifting your chandelier, because the range of DMX hoists includes motors suited for lifting both light weight items and heavy weight stage elements.

At Wahlberg, we love building and rebuilding things. We believe in sustainability and don't believe in discarding a perfectly good product just because one part isn't functioning properly. You can either send in your Wahlberg product for a tune-up, or you can purchase the spare parts and, with a little help from downloading our Exploded View files, you can tackle the repairs yourself.
