Winch 3 makes it easy to automate the motion effects and create moving effects for your stage props. Control all movements by DMX control with 16-bit position via a lighting desk.
The Winch 3 has a 0-fleet lifting point which makes it great for lifting static objects such as fabrics and textiles.
Combining several winches makes it possible to design a DMX controlled Contour curtain or Venetian curtain.
The Winch 3 is a small and fast mini wire winch for lifting small objects on stage compared to our Winch 1. It has increased lifting capacity up to 3 kg. This way you can make stage effects for even more stage props.
You can control this winch directly from the lighting desk via DMX. This means that all movements, speed and positions can be controlled from the lighting desk or a separate controller. It is furthermore possible to cue the movements via DMX, to easily integrate it with the existing stage and lighting design.
The standard Winch 3 is made with a lifting height of 10 m (33 ft) and a built-in positioning system which is utilized in locating the desired position. It can lift up to 3 kg, with a speed that is perfect for makihgng both fast pickups but also slower depending on the desired effect. Great for stage design where you need to extend the effects of any given stage props up to 3 kg with automated vertical movements.
You can control the winch 3 and create the movements you want and integrate this into your stage design. The winch is as mentioned controlled from the lighting desk via DMX, and it is possible to set the upper and lower limits of the movement of the winch to adjust the span of motion.
The Winch 3 is controlled by highly accurate 16-bit DMX channels. It stops within just 1 mm. This means that you can operate the winch as you want to, so the elements you are lifting makes the exact movement effect you desire.
Use also multiple Winch 3's to create a beautiful choreography of large items and floating elements. You can easily daisy chain the winches to create dynamic movements with 100’s of winches in the same installation.
