How has it been used:
How it works:
The Winch 10 cable is a small winch for lifting small electrical objects.
A special kevlar improved powercable is used for lifting the objects,
and a slipring transfers the power to the cable.
The power cable is run on a separate circuit, equipped with a separate fuse and plug,
so you can chose your own voltage and type of signal.
The winch is controlled from the lighting desk,
so that light movements can be coordinated with the lighting control.
The Winch 10 Cable has an advanced positioning system with 16 bit precision,
which yields a high level of accuracy, down to less than 1mm.
The lifting speed is also controlled by DMX. It is possible to adjust
how high or low the winch can move.
