Special Custom-made Mechanical Solution For Copenhagen University Library with Arkitema

The University Library in Copenhagen needed a mechanical solution for their large chandelier ring to be lowered and retracted. Wahlberg and Arkitema was put on the task.
Wahlberg designed four special custom-made 50 KG Winches, with extended pulley arms that were integrated into the ceiling walls.
The controller and interface for the four winches were also made by Wahlberg. Designing an easy-to-use controller for the library, giving them the possibility to change the chandelier's light bulbs with no problems.

The installation and setup were handled by Wahlberg and Arkitema.
